How to Get Cid

Cid Kagenou is a limited spec. It is not sitting on a rooftop with a Zeni price like Sukuna, and it is not a Hollow material checklist like Ichigo. Creators unlock it from cell-arena / server-time bosses, and the account badge that marks the drop is I Am Atomic. A second badge, Cosmic Hunter, exists in the same live game and should not be confused with Cid’s unlock. If the arena is not up on your 10-player server, you cannot force the spec by grinding Desert. Prep the account, then wait for the window.

Treat Cid as a timer, not an island

Permanent specs have islands. Sukuna has Jujutsu. Ichigo has Hueco Mundo behind Desert. Cid has a clock. Server-time bosses rotate in the cell arena; when that event is live, you show up with enough damage to kill the target and you stay until the limited drop and the badge land. When it is not live, go back to the leveling route and keep skipping one-tap camps toward 210,000. Sitting in an empty arena does not make Cid spawn faster.

Prepare before the timer, not during it. Redeem working codes so Zeni and Trait Rerolls are already in the bag. Buy a katana, roll at least a Legendary trait, and put Defense plus your damage column into stats. Turn PvP off in settings unless you are specifically there to fight players; a limited boss on a 10-player server is messy enough without extra deaths. Auto Skills should be on so your Z X C V kit fires while you focus on the arena target. The controls page maps that menu on PC and Mobile.

What you are actually hunting

The spec is Cid Kagenou. The badge that confirms the limited unlock is I Am Atomic. Cosmic Hunter is a separate badge that also exists; do not abandon a Cid run because someone in chat is flashing the wrong badge. Titles, Haki level, fruit gacha, and the merchant are unrelated systems. They do not substitute for the arena kill. If a later patch moves Cid to a seller, the updates hub will say so. Until that happens, assume limited means limited.

You still need a usable kit to kill the boss. Early players arrive with Yoru or Black Leg from Starter Island. Mid-route players arrive with Sukuna if the finger farm is done. Hollow mains arrive with Ichigo. Any of those can clear the arena if your trait is not a Common leftover. TrueAscension is the best overall roll; store it if it lands so you do not overwrite it while spinning pity. Shadow Sword users later on Boss Island will want ShadowGod or SwordKing instead, but that is a different spec and a different island. Trait odds sit on the traits guide.

The video below is a beginner session that includes the limited Cid unlock. Use it to see the arena flow. Do not copy expired code strings from an old description; live codes are on this wiki’s codes hub.

During the window

Set spawn as close to the cell arena as the game allows so a death does not send you to Starter Island. Join a server that actually has the event; 10-player instances can be on different timers. If your server is dead, hop. Spend Zeni on the spawn or entry cost if the arena asks for one, and do not dump that Zeni into fruit gacha mid-fight. Kill the boss, check the spec, check the I Am Atomic badge. If the drop misses, stay for the next spawn instead of teleporting away to “prep more.” Limited windows close.

Party up if the lobby is friendly. Rise Piece is online and servers hold ten players, so a coordinated kill is faster than a solo wipe. Keep PvP off if you are there for the spec rather than for player graves. After the unlock, bind the new skills and test them on a camp you already one-tap so you are not learning Cid on the next timed boss. Compare the kit on the players hub and the tier list once you have used it, not from the badge popup.

If the event is not live

Do something that still progresses the account. Finish seven cursed fingers for Sukuna. Start Hollow orbs for Ichigo. Move the leveling route to the next island that still fights back. Roll traits toward 250-spin mythical pity. Check community links and the updates hub for the next Rise House post rather than refreshing an empty arena. Scripts that claim to force limited bosses belong on the scripts hub with the usual account-risk warning; this page will not pretend they are required. Planners sit under tools.

Cid is the spec you get by being online at the right minute with a finished kit. Sukuna and Ichigo are the specs you get by staying on an island. Do not mix those loops. When the badge finally reads I Am Atomic, leave the arena and go back to skipping camps. The Guides Hub is the index for the permanent hunts you paused, and the getting started guide is still the right link to send a friend who just spawned and thinks Cid is a Starter Island NPC.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Rise Piece questions.

Is Cid Kagenou a permanent seller?

No. Cid is a limited spec from cell-arena / server-time bosses. Sukuna is the permanent rooftop seller; see how to get Sukuna.

What badge do I get for Cid?

The I Am Atomic badge marks the Cid unlock. Cosmic Hunter is a different badge that also exists in Rise Piece. Do not mix them up.

What should I do if the cell arena is empty?

Leave. Level on the leveling route, farm Sukuna fingers, or start Ichigo materials. Cid does not spawn because you stood in an empty arena.

Can I unlock Cid on Mobile?

Yes. Rise Piece is live on PC and Mobile. Use on-screen buttons and the same menu for spawn and PvP. The controls page maps both.

Should I turn PvP off for the Cid boss?

Yes unless you came to fight players. Ten-player servers make limited bosses messy. Toggle PvP in settings from the EXP-bar menu.

Where do I check if Cid moved in a patch?

The updates hub. Until a patch says otherwise, treat Cid as limited and keep the permanent hunts on their own pages.
