How to Get Excalibur in Rise Piece

Excalibur is one of the two headline unlocks from the Rise Piece update that introduced Boss Island. The other is Homelander. Excalibur is the cheaper of the two: 3,500,000 Zeni, 2,500 Gems, 10 Mana Crystals, the Excalibur Sword (drop), and the Bearer of Excalibur title (drop). What Excalibur requires
The Excalibur NPC on Boss Island wants all of the following before the sword exchanges:

The sword and title are boss drops. You need to run the Excalibur Boss until both items land.
Step 1 — Gather Boss Keys
Boss Keys drop from powerful bosses across all islands. There is no single confirmed farm location. The update that added Boss Island also introduced a teleport system — use it to move between islands quickly. Redeem working codes before you commit to a long farm so your Zeni total climbs faster.
Step 2 — Reach Boss Island
Boss Island is the new hub for this update. The teleport feature lets you travel there directly from the menu. Relaunch the game if you do not see the teleport option — it comes with the same patch that added Excalibur and Homelander.
Step 3 — Farm the Excalibur Boss
Summon the Excalibur Boss with 1 Boss Key per attempt. Defeat it to earn:
- Excalibur Sword (1 needed)
- Bearer of Excalibur Title (1 needed)
Because both are random drops, multiple runs may be required. Unlike Homelander which costs 5 keys per summon, Excalibur only costs 1 — making the farm faster per attempt.
Step 4 — Collect Mana Crystals and Zeni
Mana Crystals drop from bosses across the game. Confirm the exact drop rate in Discord if it matters for your timeline. Bank Zeni through normal island grinding, code redemption, and boss kills. At 3.5M Zeni, Excalibur is cheaper than Homelander (15M) but still requires serious island time.
Step 5 — Claim Excalibur
Return to the Excalibur NPC on Boss Island with every material. Exchange them to receive the Excalibur sword.
Boss Upgrades — permanent stat boosts
After farming Excalibur Boss, you earn Boss Shards. These fund the new Boss Upgrades system, which permanently increases:
- Melee
- Defense
- Sword
- Special
- Luck
Upgrade these stats before your next boss farm to clear content faster. The upgrades are account-wide.
Excalibur in the weapon tier list
Excalibur ranks alongside Shadow Sword as a top-tier blade. Without TrueAscension or a comparable Mythical trait, it performs as a strong A-tier sword.
